Specifically selected silicone-based oils are emulsified in water.
They are used for example in heatset printing mills to protect the ink on the paper and provide a soft glossy shine on the magazines. Silicone emulsions cover the full scope of concentrations, depending on the printing mills’ needs.
Other emulsions make it possible to distribute the oils evenly over the mould surface leading to a more economical and ecological demoulding process. Silicone-based emulsions are used e.g. for producing moulded parts in plastic.

List of all the silicone emulsions
Fluide HS 60 AS
Fluide HS 60 AS is an all-round 60% silicone emulsion for use on heat-set rotation printing presses.
Silicone emulsion with excellent wetting, lubricating and demoulding effect on plastics. It can also be used as a hydrophobic and protective coating on the surface of paper or cardboard and provides good lubrication properties to glass, plastics, stainless steel, aluminium, steel, and cast iron. This emulsion is FDA-approved for indirect food contact.
Rotasilc SW 3S
35% silicone emulsion with excellent spreading on application roller. It also performs very well on fast running heatset rotation presses.
