Garo ® 148 AS/45
Description:
GARO ® 148 AS/45 is a special oil, with incorporated emulsifier, that has been developed particularly for use in mineral wool insulation materials.
Application:
GARO ® 148 AS/45 is previously emulsified in water using the oil in water method.
Depending on the mixing possibilities emulsions of higher concentrations can be made.
During the production GARO ® 148 AS/45 emulsion is blended together with following chemicals:
phenolformaldehyde binder, water, urea and ammoniumsulphate.
GARO ® 148 AS/45 was especially developed for improved emulsion stability and binder compatibility.
Characteristics:
- Reduction of dust during production, during rolling of the carpets and during cutting of mattresses.
- Higher flexibility of finished product.
- Less swelling and stronger hydrophobic effect.
- Excellent storage stability.
- Good resistance to hard water and to basic products.
- Good compatibility with other sizing products.
- Very high flash point, which results in smoke-reduction during production.
Packaging:
GARO ® 148 AS/45 is available in IBC containers of 900 kg and in Bulk.
