Garo ® 217/S
Description:
GARO ® 217/S is a special, oil in water-type, dispersion that was developed particularly for mineral wool insulation materials as dust binding agent. The product has excellent compatibility with the resins, hardeners & silanes used in the industry.
Application:
During the production GARO ® 217/S is blended (in line or through a pre-mix) with the chemicals involved in the process.
Characteristics:
- Reduction of dust during production, during rolling of the carpets and during cutting of mattresses.
- Higher flexibility of finished product.
- Less swelling and stronger hydrophobic effect.
- Excellent storing stability (up to 6 months).
- Good resistance to hard water and to bases.
- Good compatibility with sizing products.
- Very high flashpoint, which results in smoke-reduction during the production.
Packaging:
GARO ® 217/S is available in 1 ton IBC or in bulk.
