Impermax ® 885/50
Description:
IMPERMAX ® 885/50 C is a paraffin/wax emulsion used in latex systems, especially in the foam backing of carpets and needle felt. It is also used in pulp blends of paper or board, chip board, etc.
Application:
IMPERMAX ® 885/50 C is added as such to the mixing vessels of the latex compound.
Characteristics:
IMPERMAX ® 885/50 C provides an outstanding water repellent effect, due to its special composition, on latex systems (SBR) and that as well on the no gel foam system as on the usual gel system.
It provides an outstanding processing of the latex system and a much more attractive final aspect of the foam. This provides also a better rubbing fastness.
By adding IMPERMAX ® 885/50 C in the latex compound the latex backing is less aging by NOX gases. The adding of IMPERMAX ® 885/50 C renders no interference on the foam characteristics and as tensile strength, modulus, delaminating, etc.
IMPERMAX ® 885/50 C is compatible with all anionic and non-ionic products.
Packaging:
IMPERMAX ® 885/50 C can be supplied in IBC's of ca. 1000 L. or in bulk min. 15 T.
