REACH AND GOVI

Reach is in force.
The new EU chemicals Regulation REACH, which stands for Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals, is in force since June 1st, 2007. Reach applies to all companies manufacturing, importing or using chemicals, who must take a greater responsibility in safely handling and using these substances.

We are happy to inform you that we have preregistered all substances that we manufacture or import.
Compliance with Reach is one of GOVI's top priorities. It insures that our customers do not experience any delay or interruption in the supply of Govi products. Besides our own pre-registrations for manufactured and imported substances, Govi works closely together with its suppliers to secure an uninterrupted supply of raw materials.

Govi is committed to meet all legal obligations under Reach, Govi is well prepared.
Govi is well aware of all legal obligations under Reach, including the timelines for pre-registration and registration. Govi is an active member of an international and national Reach-Task Force. As an early member of the Vlarip-Reach implementation Project, organized by the Chemical Federation ESSENSCIA-Flanders, Govi has acquired a lot of expertise with interpreting and implementing Reach.
Govi has therefore already been assigned as an Only Representative.
