Research & Development

The R & D department, with its very well equipped laboratory and highly educated engineers, is an important department within GOVI NV. We focus continuously on improving existing GOVI-products as well as on developing new products. This is accomplished thanks to the close contact with our customers and the knowledge about the existing problems within the customer’s industrial processes.

Cross fertilization through the diversity of processes and applications where GOVI is active facilitates engineering innovative engineered chemicals and even opens new markets for GOVI NV.

Within the laboratory, it is possible to characterize all kinds of oils, waxes, emulsions and dispersions. For exceptional investigations in the colloid chemistry, we maintain excellent contacts with various universities and research centers, all over the world.

A pilot installation in the lab delivers the knowledge to upscale production processes and to set up all parameters necessary to maintain the right quality during and after the production process.

All development is driven by the demand that products need to be safe from the first steps of their production process to their final use by the customer. All products comply with the REACH legislation.

In many cases, the Govi’s R&D department supports the startup of a product in the industrial process at the customers’ place. We have made it our business to provide a solution for our customer’s problems.
